ACT 1- Pre-Mapleburg 13 years ago...

The story starts with Bray, who is 18 at this time, checks on his calendar realizing that 2 days from now he will be attending Mapleburg College. He heads down stairs to meet his mother, who is very nice to him & his father Ergeshov, who is slightly grumpy but still pretty chill. Bray then packs his stuff & heads to the Temir Train Station, not before saying goodbye to his parents. When Bray exits his home, he is greeted by his neighborhood friend, Stephen Ismoilov, who is also going to Mapleburg College. along the way to the Train Station, he walks near the tashkent Publishing Book Store, where the owner gives bray a copy of "Across the Rose Water River" shouting that "Hey! i found this while digging into the garbage yesterday, its still in good condition but when i hold it, it sorta rumbles for some reason. so take it I don't need it so". Bray & Stephen then arrive at the Train Station where they board on.
